Bade is a private, self-hosted personal assistant operated by its owner (contact bade.admin@gmail.com) for personal use. This policy explains what data Bade accesses and how it is handled.
With your explicit authorization through Google, Bade accesses the Gmail account(s) you
connect, using the Gmail API scope gmail.modify. Bade reads message metadata and
content in order to categorise your mail, applies labels, and — only after you
explicitly confirm each action — archives messages, moves them to Trash, or creates
draft replies. Bade never sends email on your behalf and never permanently deletes mail.
Message content is processed to sort mail into categories and produce a summary digest. To perform the categorisation, message content may be sent to a third-party large-language-model API (for example Google Gemini or Groq) solely to generate the classification for that run. That content is not used to train those models (per their API terms) and is not retained by Bade after processing.
Bade stores the OAuth refresh token for each connected account, encrypted at rest, so it can maintain access without repeated sign-ins. Labels are stored within your own mailbox by Google. Bade does not maintain its own copy of your email content — messages are processed transiently and discarded. Bade runs on infrastructure controlled by the owner.
Your data is not sold, and is not shared with third parties except the language-model API used for classification as described above. There is no advertising.
Bade's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke Bade's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of stored tokens, contact bade.admin@gmail.com.
